Blazium Rijder goes open source!
Hello everyone!
My driving game, Blazium Rijder, goes open source! I have published the project itself. You can download blaziumrijder_project.7z, unpack it with 7-zip, WinRAR or other archive software and then open it with either Blazium or with Godot Engine 4! :-D

You can do whatever you want with the project, like making your own changes to it or using it as a template for your own project. You don't need to credit me. This project is public domain. I believe in UNLIMITED SOFTWARE FREEDOM!!! :-D
If you are going to keep the asset of Bloom (Winx Club) in it or the music (both menu and the game itself), make sure to credit Taralen and Adrian von Ziegler, out of respect!
I have also included some other files, namely...
1. BlaziumRijder.7z: the game exported with Blazium 0.5.68 in Compatibility mode. Default.
2. BlaziumRijderVooruit.7z: the game exported with Blazium 0.5.68 in Forward+ mode. Looks better, lighter background, but also heavier in system resources to run.
3. BlaziumRijderZonderSneeuw.7z: the game exported with Blazium 0.5.68 in Compatibility mode without the file Sneeuw.hdr, since on some older computers, the game refuses to run because it cannot import Sneeuw.hdr for some reason.
4. GodotRijder.7z: the game exported with Godot Engine 4.4.1 in Compatibility mode.
5. GodotRijderVooruit.7z: the game exported with Godot Engine 4.4.1 in Forward+ mode. Looks better, lighter background, but also heavier in system resources to run.
6. GodotRijderZonderSneeuw.7z: the game exported with Godot Engine 4.4.1 in Compatibility mode without the file Sneeuw.hdr, since on some older computer, the game refuses to run because it cannot import Sneeuw.hdr for some reason.

I exported the game both in Blazium and Godot for benchmarking reasons. I am going to test whether there is a difference in performance between both engines! :-D
On top of that, I have included the icons in each archived file. This is handy when you want to make a desktop icon of this game. Now you have the icon file for this! :-D
The 30th May update further includes:
1. Improved collision for the lampposts. More realistic lamppost behaviour when rammed.
2. Improved the centre of mass of the lampposts. Good for realism.
3. I gave each rammable object more realistic weights.
4. Ability to turn off (and turn on again) the music with the button m.
5. Ability to watch behind you with the key L (additional camera).
It's not a big update. I haven't made new terrains, nor new gameplay objects. The biggest update here is the fact that I open-sourced the game AND the additional builds for both new computers (BlaziumRijderVooruit.7z) and older computers that cannot run the default game (BlaziumRijderZonderSneeuw.7z), as well as the inclusion of the Godot builds for testing purposes.
